Elder law is one of the widest practices in the legal profession. Elder care lawyers are responsible for planning and executing health and housing issues, financial care, estate planning and more. With regards to estate planning, an elder law attorney is charged with making sure the wealth and estate of an elderly person is distributed to family, charity or other organizations as per the wishes of his or her client. One of the most important jobs of an elder law attorney is to ensure that health and housing issues are well planned and executed so as to maintain a healthy lifestyle for his client during their "golden years".
