Nursing homes and Rehabilitation Facilities are not only for the elderly, they also service those with disabilities and those convalescing of any age. After a surgery or an injury, a person can be sent to a nursing home to rehabilitate. A 'care plan' that describes what types of therapy will be offered along with the goal of the therapy is written. This may include, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy and Physcial therapy to name a few.
