Nursing Homes Medicaid

Medicaid is a State and Federal program that will pay most nursing home costs for people with limited income and assets. Medicaid provides assistance to the poor, and to those who are impoverished by high medical and long-term care spending. To be eligible for Medicaid assistance with the cost of nursing home care, individuals must have limited assets, and must contribute all of their available income toward the cost of that care.
